Vienna, the old imperial capital and centre of Austrian life, is the host of the Bank Austria-TennisTrophy. Held annually in late October, each tournament sees the best players from around the world battle it out for a top spot in front of enthusiastic fans, many having flown from all over Europe to cheer for their favourite player. The event is held at the Wiener Stadthalle, an indoor arena with a seating capacity of around 16,000.
