Twickenham is such a nice area that it seems a shame to stay out of town. But if you’re on a budget and simply looking for somewhere to get your head down, a well-recommended hotel is the 3-star Days Hotel Hounslow, less than a mile from the stadium.
A mid-range option that is within comfortable walking distance of the stadium is the three-star Popes Grotto Hotel in Twickenham town centre, which has good reviews on tripadvisor.
If travelling by car, a good hotel with free parking is the 4-star Petersham Hotel in Richmond, which sits on the bank of the River Thames, and is less than two miles from Twickenham Stadium.
If you’d prefer to stay in Central London, you might want to consider a hotel near to Waterloo Station, which runs mainline trains to Twickenham Stadium. The 3-star Premier Travel Inn London County Hall is in a fantastic spot on London’s South Bank, next to the London Eye, and is a five minute walk from Waterloo.
