About Motorsport in Northern Ireland

Northern Ireland is home to several motorsport venues that organise motor racing events throughout the year. The Aghadowey Circuit in County Londonderry holds many national motorsport events, such as Ulster Drift championships and Irish Drag Championship. Kirkistown Circuit is another popular venue in Northern Ireland that hosts motorsport events throughout the year, such as Northern Ireland Championship Rally and Open Formula Championship.

Other big events in the country's racing calendar are the Ulster Grand Prix, the North West 200 and the Circuit of Ireland Rally. The Ulster Grand Prix and North West 200 are motorcycle races, the former is held at the Dundrod Circuit in County Antrim, while the latter is a race held on public roads.

Many motorsport fans visiting Northern Ireland for racing events choose to book hotels and explore the wide range of historic and scenic attractions that the country has to offer. It is a small country, so getting around by car, bus or train is fast and simple.
