About Motorsport in Netherlands

The Netherlands is home to two famous motorsport circuits: the Circuit Park Zandvoort, and the TT Circuit Assen. The Circuit Park Zandvoort is a motorsport racetrack situated close to the North Sea coastline. It currently holds the Masters of Formula 3 and is a part of the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters touring car racing series. The TT Circuit Assen is considered "The Cathedral" of motorcycling by Dutch racing fans. It hosts the prestigious Dutch TT, part of the MotoGP World Championship and the Superbike World Championship. The Dutch TT is one of the country's top sporting events and every June thousands of motorsport fans flock to The Netherlands to witness this exciting event. The venue also hosts the A1 Grand Prix, a popular motor racing event.

Amsterdam Schiphol Airport is the country's main international gateway; fans flying to The Netherlands will likely arrive here. Assen and Zandvoort can be easily reached by bus or train. Those travelling by car will find a well-developed road network.
