Brands Hatch is a motor racing circuit located to the south-east of London, England, in the Kent countryside.

First used as a dirt track motorcycle circuit on farmland in 1926, it held 12 Formula One Grands Prix between 1964 and 1986.

The racetrack attracts some of the biggest international events on the calendar, including the World Touring Car Championship, DTM and the A1GP World Cup of Motorsport.

It also stages the opening and final rounds of the British Superbike and British Touring Car championships as well as major historic meetings, truck racing, British F3/GT and a number of club bike and car events.

Track days are available at Brands Hatch through Racemaster and M3 Master.

Getting To Brands Hatch

The nearest train station to Brands Hatch is Swanley, which is five miles from the circuit. Regular services to Swanley operate from London Victoria, with a journey time of around 25 minutes.

Unless you fancy the walk, you may want to consider pre-booking a taxi to take you from Swanley to the circuit, as there have been tales of the station often being deserted.

For international visitors, the closest airport to Brands Hatch is London City, which is around 15 miles from the circuit. The airport connects to a limited amount of cities across Europe and the US.

London Gatwick Airport has a bigger scope of destinations and is around 35 miles from the circuit.
