Ideally located only 8 minutes by train from London Bridge, this family-run inn offers high quality accommodation combined with the atmosphere of a traditional English pub.The Wishing Well is known locally as a great place to stay. Well-appointed bedrooms sit above the cosy pub complete with a games room. Enjoy a game of pool or darts, or watch major sporting events on the big screen TV from the Chesterfield sofas. If 2 major events occur at the same time, a 2nd screen is available.Due to its location, the Wishing Well Inn was often used as the setting for the successful TV series, Only Fools and Horses. Turn left and walk straight up the road on the left hand side. We are located on the corner of Choumert and Bellenden Roads.Gatwick Airport: Catch the overland train into London Bridge station, from there take a connecting train (9 minutes) to Peckham Rye. Coming out of the station immediately turn right Turn right again at the end of the passage into Blenheim Grove. Walk straight ahead until you reach Bellenden Road. Turn left and walk straight up the road on the left hand side. We are located on the corner of Choumert and Bellenden Roads.Luton Airport: Coming from Luton is very easy. Heathrow Airport: Take the Underground train using the Piccadilly Line, changing trains at South Kensington onto the District or Circle lines getting off at London Victoria.
