A GREAT BOUTIQUE HOTEL and BISTRO...A FEW PRESS COMMENTS TO HELP YOU CHOOSE... Best Small Hotel 2008 (Bournemouth Tourism Awards) best five seaside hotels (Guardian Newspaper - April 2007) this boutique hotel is great (Sunday Telegraph - August 2007) Its hard to resist the hotels 12 chic rooms, modern-British restaurant and ultra-friendly service (Elle Magazine - August 2007) the latest hip place to stay - chic yet affordable (the observer - June 2007) smart contemporary design offset by the relaxed ambiance of the seaside (Food and Travel Magazine - June 2007). The Urban Beach is a small boutique hotel and bistro located just a few minutes walk from the beach. Come and stay at a hotel with real soul, an amazing atmosphere and a great team of staff, from Mark the owner and manager all the way down. Our Bistro offers some great dishes with meat and fish that is locally sourced and freshly cooked by our excellent head chef Ben. Our delicious cocktails use local dorset blueberries and ginger, or locally made horseradish vodka for an amazing bloody mary. These truly fresh ingredients are freshly squeezed and prepared by our mixologist James and are sure to help you sleep. Having invested over £1 million on this small Victorian hotel our rooms are stunning with huge comfy beds, wake me up power showers, egyptian cotton linen, arran aromatic toiletries, large plasma tvs, DVD players, DVD library and 8 mb web connections. Directions
By car coming from the East take the M27, A31 then A338 signposted Bournemouth. Just after Bournemouth railway station take first exit onto Saint Pauls Road signposted town centre. At roundabout take 2nd exit onto Saint Swithuns Road South. At roundabout take first exit onto Christchurch Road. After one mile at traffic light crossroads turn right into Saint Johns road and second left into Argyll road. The hotel is the last building on the left hand side and offers both a car park and on street parking.
