The Hotel Ucciardhome is an old converted building with high brick arches and historical design motifs, located in Palermo's old town, two kilometres from Castello della Zisa. The hotel's 11 air conditioned guestrooms have light colour schemes, marble floors, and minimalist wenge wood furnishings. Directions
A shuttle bus is available in Piazza Crispi, from which the hotel is reachable by foot (take Via Borrelli, turn right onto Vicolo Ucciardone and then left onto Via Enrico Albanese). The nearest train station is Giachery, two kilometres from the hotel. A typical taxi fare from the airport will cost approximately 50 EUR. Palermo's historic centre can be explored on foot and there is a good public bus network throughout the city as well as a metro system.
Driving directions: From the airport take the motorway from Trapani towards Palermo. Take the Via Regione Siciliana and exit at Notabartolo. Head in the direction of the harbour. At the end of Via Duca della Verdura, turn onto Via Enrico Albanese.
