Set in 4.5 acres of its own grounds, is ideal for both families and couples looking for a relaxing break, or action packed holiday with plenty to keep you occupied in the surrounding area. All our bedrooms have individual character, typical of an 1870's old family home which belonged to the Arnott family (Mr arnott was the surgeon to Napoleon Bonopart). There are many features in the hotel including a stained glass window dedicated to the Arnott Family, at the rear of the hotel is the remains of the old tower which is believed to date back to the 15th century.
