The hotel is in arguably the best location in Lucerne. Lowenplatz is just a couple of metres away as is the lake and the famous wooden bridge.
Like the rest of this newly rebuilt hotel the rooms are in exceptional condition. All enjoy a warm colour scheme in reds and yellows and many have views over lake Lucerne. The furniture is elegant but understated. The rooms vary in size somewhat, many being large, whilst others are only medium sized.
The hotel has a superb gourmet restaurant, elegantly decorated and in absolutely first class condition. After a two year closure and massive investment, this privately owned hotel is now one of Switzerland's best deluxe five stars.
The medium sized lobby has a lovely high ceiling and polished marble columns. It is luxuriously furnished in impeccable taste with beautiful antique furniture.
The facade is wonderfully elegant. It is newly painted in pale yellow.
An excellent choice for both groups and individual travellers. 0708SR
