The Rusland Pool Hotel is named after the nearby stream which rises in Grizedale Forest, between Lake Windermere and Coniston Water, and meanders the length of the Rusland valley to join the River Leven at Pool Foot. Situated beside the A590, the main throughfore to and from South Lakeland, Barrow in Furness and Cartmel Peninsulas and the West Cumrian coast, just within the Lake District National Park and between Morecambe Bay and Windermere.The rooms are spacious, well appointed, en-suite with T.V., direct dial telephones and tea and coffee facilities. Our hotel bar has a selection of Real Ales, Malt Whiskys and an excellent wine list.Monocles Restaurant uses only the finest local ingredients and has a daily changing seasonal menu.

Directions
From the M6 Junction 36, follow the A590 towards Ulverston. After the Newby Bridge roundabout, continue 3 miles and Rusland Pool can be found on the right hand side of the road.
