From Newcastle International Airport (NCL):
Distance to The Royal Station Hotel is five miles, approximately 15 minutes' drive.
Getting there. The metro connects the airport with Newcastle's central train station, Sunderland and Gateshead. Trains depart every seven minutes and the fare is 2 GBP for a single journey. Taxis are available outside the terminal, and cost about 15 GBP 16 GBP to the city centre. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. The Royal Station Hotel is on Neville Street, next to the railway station. An efficient and inexpensive metro system serves Newcastle, North and South Tyneside, Gateshead, and Sunderland. Bus services operate within the city centre, and ferries run every 30 minutes to North and South Shields.
