The upper wood panelled fireside bar area offers a warm, homely welcome with its open fire, traditional ales and home cooked food its just the place to escape for the evening, after a day exploring the beautiful Lake District or stay and take advantage of our en-suite superior bedrooms, The Coniston, Hawkshead or The Ulswater. The Royal Oak has been awarded 4 Star rating for food safety performance from the Cumbria Food Liason Group which is part of the Enviromental health agency.
