This hotel is located on a quiet side street in the middle of town just a 10-minute walk from the lake and adjacent to the old town.
The small rooms vary not only in style, but also in condition. Some newly refurbished rooms are really in exceptional condition with up-to-date furniture and bold, modern colour schemes. The bathrooms are also in exceptional condition. The hotel also has older rooms which, although in very good condition, are not quite so up-to-date style-wise, with beige soft furnishings and simple furniture.
The restaurant is located on the ground floor to the left of the reception desk. It is traditionally Swiss serving national specialities. The style here is quite traditional with dark wooden furniture, in typical Swiss rustic style. The more modern group dining room is upstairs. There is also a very traditional banquet/private dining room which has an original fireplace and antique ornaments.
The small lobby is decorated in a mix of traditional Swiss and modern styles with limited seating.
The modern building has an pinkish facade that is impossible to miss.
An excellent choice for the budget traveller who wants a peaceful, yet central, location. 0108SO
