Location. Villa Cibele is located in Catania, on the island of Sicily, Italy, two kilometres from the historic shopping street of Via Etnea and three kilometres from the ancient Roman amphitheatre in Piazza Stesicoro. Mount Etna is 25 kilometres away. Catania central rail station is four kilometres from the hotel.

Expert Tip. The imposing 13th century Ursino Castle is both a former battleground and prison. The fortress used to tower over the sea but Mount Etna's famous eruption spoiled its view, relegating it to a position several hundred metres inland.
