purplehotel Sheffield Meadowhall opened on 10th November 2008 in the Steel City, two minutes from Junction 34 of the M1 and just around the corner from Meadowhall, Sheffields top shopping centre.Perfect for business and leisure travellers alike, all rooms are complete with large beds, air con, supersize, powerful walk-in showers, flat screen TV, industrial strength Wi-Fi and a large desk.But when youre in a city as buzzing as Sheffield, youre hardly likely to be spending much time inside. The city centre has been completely regenerated over the last decade or so and it shows. Youll find an abundance of high street and boutique shops, traditional pubs and continental caf culture, and the best fish and chips alongside the finest in gastronomy. Sheffield is home to the Crucible Theatre, two football teams and if you drive ten minutes out of the city youll find yourself in the most stunning countryside.Sheffield has it all. Travelling from the North1.Exit the M1 at Junction 342.Take the right hand lane on the slip road3.Take the 4th exit off the roundabout4.Get into right hand lane and continue for 0.1 miles5.Take first right at traffic lights onto Barrow Road6.At traffic lights follow the road to right and then take first turning on the right into the hotel car park Travelling from the South1.Exit the M1 at Junction 342.Take the middle lane on the slip road3.Take the third exit off the roundabout and go on to viaduct (signposted M1 north)4.Take first at the roundabout.5 Get into right hand lane and continue for 0.1 miles6.Take first right at traffic lights onto Barrow Road7.At traffic lights follow the road to the right and then take first turning on the right into the hotel car park
