Located right on the Tamar riverfront, just 5 minutes from Launceston CBD. The hotel is part of a major redevelopment of the Seaport Dock area with restaurants, entertainment venues and shopping facilities creating a new social hub for Launceston.
City View rooms are on all levels of the hotel with views over the beautiful Tamar River or Seaport dock. The rooms are contemporary nautical in style, using soft, light colours, natural timbers and chrome. Ensuite bathroom with shower.
On the ground floor of the hotel, Mud Bar and Restaurant serves a modern eclectic mix of cuisines from around the world. The wide range of wines including superb Tasmanian wine. Overlooking the marina and the river, guests have a choice of inside or year-round outside dining with Tamar Valley views. Relaxed, cafe style environment. Mud Bar & Restaurant open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. These are leased, not run by hotel.
The public areas are lined with old black and white photos of Launceston harbour in reverse - a touch of history with a stylish modern twist. The decor is contemporary nautical.
