Parkside International Hotel in Reading, England

Based on a lovely leafy road 1.5 miles away from central Reading and the main Train Station. It is walkable in 20 mins or 5 minutes by Bus.

All the rooms are large and well designed - the hotel only opened in Summer 2004 so the property is in a very good condition. Such are the size of a lot of the Double rooms, that they come with an extra single bed, which is an excellent feature for families with a child.

Based on the ground floor, the Brasserie restaurant serves Breakfast, lunch and Dinner is large with a marble tiled floor. The restaurant area also has large leather sofas around the edges and coffee is served thorought the day.

The lobby is smart and well appointed, with marble flooring and chandliers. It feels quite spacious.

A modern purpose built low rise red brick Building.

This is a good value product ofering accessibility in and out of Reading without being right in the hub of the town. There is also ample on site free parking. (GW 09/2008)
