The Novotel is located in the middle of a small green area, 10 mins walk from the Mannheim town centre, the Wasserturm and Rosengarten.
The rooms are medium in size and kept in good condition. The bathrooms are in very good condition. Rooms are very plain in style in a typical Novotel arrangement with one double bed and a fold-out sofa bed to make a twin or triple.
The restaurant is located on the ground floor adjoining the lobby, and also benefits from plently of natural light due to the full length windows, which overlook a terrace where guests may dine during the summer.
The lobby is medium in size, pleasantly light with full length windows. The decor is simple and unpretentious with many typical Novotel touches.
This is a modern featureless light grey building.
The hotel is located quietly but also cental which makes it a perfect choice for traveller who want to explore the city but keep away from the noisy and buzzling hotels within the centre. lh0806
