Park Inn Cologne City West is a modern hotel in Cologne's business district, three kilometres from the historic downtown area and twin towered cathedral. The 205 modern guestrooms have warm decor and light wood furniture and all feature air conditioning, satellite television with pay movies, direct dial phones, minibars, hair dryers and wireless Internet access (surcharge).
Guests can work out on the latest equipment in the sixth floor Wellness Centre, with panoramic views of Lake Aachen and the city, then relax in the sauna, solarium and infra red cabin. Directions
Regional and high speed European network trains serve the airport. Taxis are readily available outside Terminals One and Two and taxi fare from the airport to the hotel is about 25 EUR. Airport shuttles are available to/from Cologne and Bonn every 15 minutes during the week, and every 30 minutes at the weekend. All transport facilities (bus, tram, tube and the RE (RegionalExpress), RB (RegionalBahn) and S (S Bahn) trains) can be used with compound tickets which are issued by the Verkehrsverbund Rhein Sieg (VRS). Besides these there are train only tickets. Ticket vending machines at Cologne's train stations issue both kinds of tickets. At tram/tube/bus stations, only compound tickets (VRS) are available.
Driving directions: Take the Cross Koln Ost highway from the airport, and change from the A3 to the A4 motorway heading in the direction of Zentrum/Messe (fair ground). After Zoobrucke, take the Innere Kanalstrasse. After about three kilometres, turn right. The hotel is on the right hand side of the street.
