Built in the 18th century by D. Sebastian de Eslava, Viceroy of New Granada, Palacio Guendulain is one of the most prominent buildings in Pamplona, located in the old part of town. Palacio Guendulain reopens as a magnificent hotel with 25 bedrooms and suites, overlooking the Consejo Square and the Palace?s inner courtyard. In its interior the guests will see the extraordinary horse carriage built in the early 18th century as well as a beautiful porter's chair. The courtyard also lodges an original collection of carriages as well as one of the fountains which was designed by the paintor Luis Paret to mark the introduction of running water in Pamplona. The impressive reception rooms on the Palace's main floor are available for meetings or to organise an event. The gastronomic restaurant is also located on the main floor and enjoys pleasant views over The Consejo Square. Palacio Guendulain offers its guest a unique balance between the comfort of a modern luxury hotel and the history and charm of an emblematic 18th century building.
