A1 North and South bound, exit at Junc 49, onto A168 for aproximately 7 miles. Take the first exit after the service station,sign posted THIRSK. Proceed on this this road for approximately 2.5 miles, to the mini roundabout. At the roundabout,take the 3rd exit, almost coming back on yourself,follow this road for approximately 12 mile. The hotel will be found on the right, just after the Church.Directions from York: Take the A19 out of York, this road leads directly to Thirsk. Once in Thirsk follow the signs for the race course and Sowerby. Turn left at the 1st mini roundabout into Sowerby. Follow this road for approximately 12 mile.
