Novotel Canberra has announced a major refurbishment of their hotel.The refurbishment will include an additional 90 new rooms and also refurbishment of the existing 197 rooms. The hotel will also be tunneling under existing buildings to create an additional 42 car parks.The schedule has begun and is expected to be completed in September 2009.To minimize impact on guests building works will be carried out between the hours of 9am & 5pm Monday to Friday and 8am to 12noon on Saturdays. Major fences will also be in place to ensure that work areas are totally shut off from guests.The Novotel Canberra is a 4 star hotel ideally located in the centre of Canberra.
