Location. The Norton House Hotel is located in Ingliston, Scotland, two miles from Edinburgh airport and 10 miles from Edinburgh's city centre.
Hotel Features. Set in 22 hectares of park and woodland, the hotel is approached by a mile long, rhododendron lined drive. The building dates from 1840 and opens to interiors with stately oak staircases and marble pillars. Guests can enjoy being pampered in the spa, which offers hydrotherapy pools, hot stone massages, and a sauna. It also has an indoor pool with windows providing natural light. Complimentary wireless Internet operates throughout the hotel.
Norton House Hotel serves a complimentary full Scottish breakfast daily. Ushers restaurant serves classic British dishes, made with seasonal, regional ingredients. Specialities include Sunday roasts. There is also an informal dining option in The Brasserie, which is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Guests can sample homemade carrot cake for afternoon tea in the stately drawing room and enjoy evening cocktails in the Glass Lounge Bar or the conservatory bar.
Housed in Victorian stables, the business and conference centre offers six air conditioned meeting rooms with natural light.
An Adventure centre is situated one mile from the hotel. Here guests can experience rock climbing, scuba diving, and sky rides. There are also paths through the parkland around the hotel allowing for a scenic walk or jog.
Guestrooms. The 83 guestrooms are individually decorated in either contemporary or traditional style.
