Set in nine acres of tranquil gardens and woodland, bordering the A55 gateway to Wales, the hotel is 10 minutes drive from Chester.
From the luxurious Four Poster rooms through to the Single rooms, all are en-suite, superbly furnished and appointed to provide you with every comfort. The rooms all have tea/ coffee making facilities and are individual in style following recent refurbishment.
Forfine food, the newly opened and beautifully extended candlelit Chequers Restaurant provides excellent dining facilities using only the freshest of local produce. The hotel chef and his team also offer - subject to availability - an exceptional array of imaginative dishes, on both the Bistro and Lounge Menus. The newly opened Terrace Room with it's own patio, serves a 'Lighter Bite' menu and you can even dine 'al fresco' weather permitting.
The reception is situated in the entrance hall by the sweeping staircase.
A traditional country house. The original 'Hall' of Northop has been tastefully modernised, retaining the oak paneling, majestic Canadian pine staircase and stained glass windows.
A quiet country retreat, set in beautiful surroundings and within easy reach of Chester city centre, Manchester, Liverpool, Snowdonia and the North Wales coast. (GW 07/2008)
