This Hotel stands proudly in the centre of Stoke-on-Trent, at the very heart of the potteries, and opposite the main line railway Station. The hotel is located 20 minutes from Alton Towers Theme Park - an ideal day out for the whole family - whilst both Manchester and Birmingham Airports are within an hours drive.
All 80 bedrooms are en-suite with Direct dial telephone, Trouser press, Hairdryer,Colour television and Complimentary tray. They are large and pleasantly decorated.
Renowned locally for its high quality cuisine, the Six Towns Restaurant is named as Stoke is made up of Six Towns. The restaurant emulates the hotel's Jacobean style with charm and a very traditional feel. The opulent colours within the room, complement the characteristics of this warm and friendly hotel and provide a unique dining ambience. A choice of either a la Carte dining or a 3 Course Carvery Dinner is offered in the evening.
There is a very large lounge area which is decorated in rich fabrics and colours, sympathetic to the original Victorian elegance of the hotel.
This is a very striking and beautiful Victorian building.
A classical, spacious and truly elegant hotel, conveniently situated, and with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that emphasises friendly and hospitable service. (GW 05/2008)
