The Normandy Hotel is set in a modern building located in its own grounds next to Glasgow Airport, within five miles of the city's major attractions. The 141 guestrooms have pared down modern decor in neutral colors; all include tea and coffee making facilities, hair dryers, Internet connections, trouser presses, toiletries and satellite television with movie channels.
Steaks 'n' Stuff, the on site restaurant, serves chicken, pork and fish dishes in addition to steak. Lighter meals and drinks are served all day in the Cocktail Lounge, with its modern decor and furnishings. For those wishing to eat or drink in their rooms, the hotel offers 24 hour room service. Guests have complimentary access to the extensive fitness and health facilities at the nearby Comsmipolitan Health Club and Spa locaated at The Erkskine Bridge Hotel; transportation is provided by the hotel. nearby David Lloyd Leisure Club; transport is provided by the hotel. The Normandy also offers dry cleaning and laundry services and multilingual staff are on hand to offer help with planning sightseeing tours. Glasgow City, The Braehead Shopping Centre, Tall Ship and Glasgow Harbor and the Scottish Exhibition Centre are all within five miles, Loch Lomond is 30 miles away. Glasgow International Airport is a five minute drive and one mile away.

| After holding my wedding reception here I would advise against any dealings with this hotel. On arrival we were left standing outside with no-one to greet us or our guests or inform us of what we were to do. All toilet facilities were out of order and after persisting and being told 3 different reasons for them being closed they eventually opened with no hint of anything wrong. Food and drink orders were not served correctly and this was due to the hotel not providing the service. All room door locks worked very temperamentally, which meant ourselves and our guests had to contact security in the early hours to gain access to our rooms. After complaining to the hotel we have been told they have done everything correctly and nothing that had happened would make any impact on what was supposed to be our special day. An extremely upsetting experience and I would never recommend this hotel for any important bookings. |

Directions
The hotel provides complimentary transport to and from the hotel. Bus services in Glasgow are frequent and reliable; tickets can be bought on board. After midnight there are night bus services around the city leaving from George Square. Taxis are also readily available. A car is, however, the best way to get around the dramatic Scots countryside.
