Directions
Directions from A8 Glasgow or Airport:Follow signs to Edinburgh city centre along the A8, through Corstorphine, past Edinburgh Zoo and onto Murrayfield. The Murrayfield Hotel is situated on the corner of Corstorphine Road and Murrayfield Road, directly opposite Murrayfield Rugby Stadium. The hotel car park is situated to the rear of the hotel with entrance off Murrayfield Road. From the East End of Princes Street from the A1 and A7: If travelling from the A1 or A7 follow the signs to Edinburgh City centre and this will bring you in at the East End of Princes Street. At the East End of Princes Street, follow the signs to the A8, Glasgow and Stirling and continue along Princes Street until you reach the West End. Continue through the West End and onto Shandwick Place. At the traffic lights get into the right hand lane and follow the one way system round Torphicen Place and turning right onto Morrison Street. Stay in the middle lane on Morrison Street and continue straight over the traffic lights into Haymarket. Pass Haymarket station on your left hand side and continue to follow the signs to the A8. This is a straight road for at least a mile and will lead onto Corstorphine Road. The Murrayfield hotel is located on the corner of Corstorphine Road and Murrayfield Road on your right hand side, directly opposite Murrayfield Rugby Stadium. From the M74A74 and A702: If travelling from the South up via Carlisle, along the M74 and A74 take the turn off for Edinburgh along the A702. This road is approx 40 miles long and will bring you in at the south side of Edinburgh. Follow the signs to the city centre along the A702 into Comiston Road, then straight ahead into Morningside Road. Continue along Morningside road until you round the corner in Bruntsfield Place. Continue straight along Bruntsfield Place and you will see a park on your right hand side. Continue past the park and a petrol station on your right hand side. At the traffic lights next to the Kings Theatre continue straight ahead and get in the left hand lane for the next approaching lights, following the signs to the A8. Continue straight onto Lothian Road heading towards the West End of Princes Street. At the bottom of Lothian Road (House of Frasers ahead of you) turn left into Shandwick Place and follow the above directions towards the A8 Glasgow and Airport.
