The Menlo Park is situated on the outskirts of Galway city just 2 km from the city centre. It is a gentle 10-minute walk into the city area for restaurants bars and shopping.
All the rooms are medium-sized, in good condition as they have recently been refurbished. The decor is of a high standard and all rooms have Internet, fax and computer points. All rooms have a double and a single bed, with TV/Satellite, welcome tray and power showers.
The restaurant is open and informal and serves both à la carte and set menus. There is a lunchtime carvery that seems very popular with the locals. There is live traditional Irish music on Friday and Saturday evenings in the bar.
Medium in size and traditionally styled with a small amount of seating.
There is ample parking. The building itself is modern with traditional touches. The hotel cannot be missed as it is bright yellow in colour.
The Menlo Park offers the best of modern facilities with old fashioned hospitality. (03/08rt)
