From the outside the hotel is quite an imposing building. It is modern, with a white facade, and bordered by an attractively designed garden.

The restaurant is on the ground floor and is a very attractive feature of the hotel. It is quite sizeable, but partitions separate the tables and make them pleasantly private. The restaurant is decorated in a pale pastel colour scheme with pale wooden furniture.

The hotel is located to the north of Munich's city centre in Schwabing. To one side of this district is the Olympic area while on the other is the English garden.
