Getting there. The number 457 city bus departs every 20 minutes to central Catania. The bus stops near the hotel. Tickets are available from a booth in front of the terminal building, and must be validated when boarding. Taxis cost approximately 20 EUR to the hotel. The closest train station lies 1 kilometre away. Price is subject to change.
Getting around. An inexpensive rail network links Sicily's larger towns, including Palermo, Messina, Catania, Taormina, and Syracuse. Buses run throughout the towns and many of the smaller villages. A car is recommended for exploring the less touristy areas.
