The hotel is set in 44 acres of private grounds and is only 15 minutes from Edinburgh. Glasgow airport is 45 minutes away and the nearest mainline railway station is 5 minutes away.

All the rooms have private bathroom, colour tv, direct dial telephone, hair dryer, mini bar and tea / coffee making facilties. The rooms are medium in size and elegantly furnished with soft colours and beautiful furniture. All rooms are in excellent condition.

The hotel restaurant is quite informal and offers an extensive a la carte and table d'hote menus. Alternatively, lighter meals and bar snacks are available in the lounge.

The hotel lobby is large and features a reception desk and a very cosy seating area with draped curtains and plush sofas. The decor is beautiful with persian rugs and large antique lamps.

This is mainly a traditional building which was originally a Country House. The surrounding grounds are spectacular and there is a small car Park.
