Directions
Although the airport is very close to Florence, traffic can be bad in the city, so guests are advised to allow at least 40 minutes for travel. The airport is a short taxi ride from the hotel, costing approximately 20 EUR. Alternatively, it is also possible to take the half hourly bus, which transports passengers to Santa Maria Novella Station, in the centre of Florence. Guests can either take a taxi or bus no 14 and get off at stop number three on Via Ghibellina, a short distance from the hotel. Bus service tickets can be bought at tobacconists or vending machines. Tickets are sold on a time basis one hour, two hour or 24 hour tickets. Traffic is restricted in the city centre and parking is expensive, so the centre of Florence is best explored on foot.
Driving directions: From the airport, drive take the Viali di circonvallazione in the direction of the city centre. Take Spartaco Lavagnini around Fortezza de Basso, then take the Piazza della Libert
