Location: The Luna Baglioni has the prestigious honour of being one of the oldest hotels in Venice and is ideally located in the heart of Venice in an ancient palazzo with views over St. Mark's Basin and St. Giorgio's Island.

The Luna Hotel Baglioni sits serenely on a quiet street just off the Piazza San Marco on a small canal opposite the royal gardens. Within comfortable walking distance from some of the citys most famous historical attractions and right in the middle of the shopping area, it is also a refreshing haven out of the bustle and commotion of the Gran Canal and the maze of narrow streets.
General Information:
A minute of history: This aristocratic hotel has a rich history beginning in the 12th century when it was shelter for the Knights Templar. By the 16th century the hotel was well established, and was further enhanced in the 18th century when the sumptuous Marco Polo lounge was embellished with stunning frescoes from Gianbattista Tiepolos School.
Amenities: From the moment you enter into the spacious reception hall you can not help being awed by the magnificence of the soaring ceilings, huge chandeliers, antique furniture, fresh flowers, and fine oil paintings. Each public room is outstanding, from the ornately imposing lobby with its splendid Oriental carpet to the serenely attractive Canova Restaurant.
Accommodation: All 115 guestrooms and suites are splendidly decorated. Many of them also have balconies overlooking the Gran Canal. Some suites have spacious balustrated terraces with an extraordinary view of San Giorgios island.

Most rooms have Internet Connection, satellite TV, mini bar, room safe, laundry service, Jacuzzi (in two suites and two deluxe rooms only), hairdryer and some rooms are suitably equipped for disabled guests.

Meals & Gastronomy: Canova Restaurant renowned for its fine cuisine and attentive service has a very relaxing atmosphere. A beautiful buffet breakfast is served here each morning and is regarded as one of the most splendid place in Venice to have breakfast.
