The King's Hotel is a 3 star hotel characterised by a blend of Victorian elegance and modern facilities. Following a fire in August the hotel is undergoing refurbishment with a view to re open in 18 months. In the meantime the section of the hotel that was not affected by the fire is now operational as a 26 en-suite bedroom establishment serving continental breakfast All twenty six bedrooms have a private bathroom, direct dial telephone, tea and coffee making facilities, trouser press, iron with ironing board and hair-dryer. Free wireless broadband internet access is also offered in our ground floor lounge for all guests. The King's Hotel is located in the heart of the historic town of Darlington with immediate access to bars, shops and night life. It is just 20 minutes from the historic city of Durham. It is located 5 minutes from Darlington's train station and a short journey from Durham Tees Valley Airport.

Directions
From South: A1(M) follow signs for Darlington town centre along Grange Road take 3rd exit off roundabout down Victoria Road. Take 2nd exit off next roundabout onto St Cuthberts Way. Then take 1st exit off next roundabout onto Tubwell Row. Take 1st right onto Crown Street & 1st left at the Northern Echo building up Priestgate. Hotel is half way up on the right hand side. From North: turn off the A1(M) onto A167 Darlington. Continue straight on & follow signs for Town Centre. Turn 1st left at big roundabout onto ring road. Take 2nd left off the next roundabout past CD Bramall garage on your left & take 3rd exit off next roundabout, over bridge next to St Cuthberts church, onto Tubwell Row take 1st right along Crown Street & 1st left onto Priestgate. Hotel on right hand side.
