Located in the Bom Jesus natural park, owns its name to the unusual water powered elevator built in the 19th century and still operating today next to the hotel. Braga city centre is 10 minutes away and Porto only 40 kms away.
The bedrooms are large and very comfortably decorated with traditional furnishings to a deluxe level. Soft blue carpets, dark oak wood furnishings and fittings and offering superb views to the city.
Offers incredible panoramic views and set within luxurious and cosy decoration specializing in local cuisine and international with a fine selection of wines and spirits. The hotel also has access to the famous Bom Jesus tea rooms of course the decoration and the architecture is admired by many.
The lobby is large in size and incorporates a couple of seating areas.
The hotel is right in the heart of the Costa Verde famous for its natural beauty, monuments and rich folklore. The hotel overlooks Braga city, it has a traditional facade restored in 1987 to its former glory of remarkable architecture.
This is with no doubt one of the best hotel in Braga. It is the only place that you can enjoy a panoramic view of the all city and very good value for money. 11.08
