The hotel is located right in the city centre almost next to the only remaining historical city gate, the Castellet.
The rooms are furnished in a traditional style, which varies from room to room. The rooms vary in size, but are generally medium, some bathrooms are small, and some are very large. Rooms and bathrooms are in good condition, but some are quite old fashioned.
The breakfast room is on the ground floor behind the reception. It features paintings, photographs and artifacts, some originals, by some of the artists who stayed at this hotel.
The traditional lobby is small in size.
It is a traditional 3 storey red brick building.
This is a charming property, and many personalities have stayed here from Royalties to artists ( Dali ), writers ( St Exupery ) and actors ( Orson Wells ), to name just a few. ( 0407/ss)
