This atmospheric residence is made up of several restored 17th century houses, set in the heart of the Provencal village of Collias. The houses encircle a tranquil, leafy courtyard, and the area is close to some excellent sightseeing, including the Roman amphitheatre at Nimes and the impressive Pont du Gard. The hotel has an eccentric feel to it: each room is individually designed, with themes like Egypt or Art Nouveau. All come with private bathrooms, air conditioning, minibars, televisions, direct dial telephones and Internet connections.
The shady courtyard, where breakfast is served, also holds a highly regarded restaurant serving Mediterranean cuisine prepared by a renowned French chef. Below here is a small swimming pool. Guests also have use of free parking, and the multilingual staff at the front desk can arrange airport transfers, meeting rooms and laundry. The area is well known for its many activities, including riding. The closest airport is Nimes Garons Airport; approximate driving time is 30 minutes and distance is 25 kilometres A taxi to downtown Nimes, two kilometres away, provides access to local bus and rail services. The best way of getting to the hotel is by hiring a car, or taking a taxi from the arrivals terminal.
