From Groningen Airport (GRQ):
Distance to Hotel Hoogeveen is 50 kilometres, approximately 30 minutes' drive.
Getting there. Taxis are available from the front of the airport and take 30 minutes to the city centre. Arriva bus numbers 52 and 53 depart from the airport for Groningen bus station several times a day. From Hoogeveen train station, you can walk to the airfield in approximately 20 minutes.
Getting around. Hoogeveen is best explored by renting a bicycle. The city centre is well connected to the rest of the Netherlands by a train and bus station.
