Holiday Inn Heidelberg Hotel in Heidelberg, Germany

The hotel is set back from a main road leading into town in the outskirts of Heidelberg, approximately 3 kilometres from the city centre. It is close to the motorway exit, but has fields on 3 sides.

The medium sized bedrooms are comfortably but simply furnished using light wood and light brown, pink and cream coloured soft furnishings. The hotel has 2 wings; the standard rooms in one wing are in fair condition, whist the other rooms are in very good condition (the same goes for the respective bathrooms).

The restaurant, which is located on the ground floor, is furnished with the same carpet as the lobby and with a partly mirrored ceiling with small lamps set into it. There is also a bar which, despite its modern decor, has a very cosy atmosphere.

The lobby is medium sized with a green and blue carpet of a small floral design and a reception desk in dark red.

This is a typically 1960s style building, being long and low and not particularly impressive.

This is a perfect hotel for the budget traveller and due to its convenient location with easy motorway access, an excellent hotel for visitors who have cars. The hotels has a good size car park.
