Holiday Inn Berlin-Esplanade Hotel in Berlin, Germany

The hotel is situated in a residential area of Berlin near the Tegel airport.

The medium size rooms are modern and functional. They are furnished with light ash furniture and a glass desk. The bedspreads are striped in red, yellow and blue. The bathrooms are modern and tiled with cream coloured tiles.

The restaurant has a large buffet and cooking area where hot food is prepared in front of the guests. The restaurant is very bright due to a large window front opening on to a terrace and garden.

The open plan lobby is large and bright. There is a glass roof above reception area.The rest of the ceiling in the lobby is panelled with metal tiles. The reception desk is in light ash wood and the reception offices are separated by a round glass wall.

The hotel is a modern white building with red painted window frames. There is a 150 year old beech tree directly in front of the hotel around which the hotel front has been built.

This hotel comes highly recommended due to it's location in one of Berlin's greenest areas. Public transport is within walking distance and it just takes minutes on the tube to reach the bustling centre of Berlin. 0807/UL
