The Treffeners fine dining restaurant serves dishes prepared using local seasonal produce, and guests can enjoy bar food and drinks while keeping one eye on the golf course in Kinahan's Bar or relax by the open fire in the lounge. Health conscious guests can stay in shape at the LivingWell Club, which comprises an 18 metre heated pool, a fitness room with free weights and cardiovascular equipment, a dance studio, sauna and steam room. In addition to the golf club, the hotel offers tennis courts and opportunities for fishing and horse riding. Guests can stay connected and plan days out using wireless Internet access and ask staff for tips on local sightseeing opportunities. Guests can visit the 19th century glass and wrought iron palm house at the Botanical Gardens, 12 miles from the hotel. The Giant's Causeway, a geological phenomenon consisting of 40,000 hexagonal basalt columns leading from the cliffs to the sea, can be seen 40 miles from the hotel. Belfast City Airport is five miles away, with an approximate driving time of ten minutes.

Directions
The hotel runs a complimentary shuttle service to and from Belfast International Airport .Trains leave from the station adjacent to the airport, which can be reached by shuttle bus, and run to Belfast Central and Victoria Street stations. Taxis operate from an approved rank directly outside the terminal building. A bus service operates from the terminal to Belfast Europa Bus Centre. The main mode of public transport in Belfast, Citybus, offers a regular service to Belfast, the suburbs and the outskirts.
Driving directions: From the airport, go straight over the roundabout and continue on the A57 for 4 miles through Templepatrick village. At the roundabout, turn left for Parkgate. The hotel is 200 metres away on the left.
