The Hilton Dunkeld House Hotel & Country Club, originally built by the 7th Duke of Atholl as a summer home for his wife, is set in a 280 acre estate in a secluded position in the Scottish Highlands, 19 kilometres north of Perth. The hotel's 98 guestrooms feature period or modern decor and are equipped with satellite television with pay movies and video games, Internet connections, games consoles, desks, trouser presses, tea and coffee making facilities and bathrooms with hair dryers and complimentary toiletries.
Guests can enjoy a host of countryside leisure activities, including clay pigeon shooting, 4x4 off road driving, all terrain quad bikes, mountain biking, archery and air rifle ranges. Other sporting facilities include all weather tennis courts, volleyball, croquet, petanque, a fitness room and a nine hole putting course. Less energetic guests can relax with a range of health and beauty treatments, including facials and massages, and the hotel's resident Style Director will help guests to look their best. The hotel's restaurant overlooks the River Tay and serves traditional Scottish dishes and hosts dinner dances, lunchtime jazz and Ceilidhs, while the relaxed, open plan bar features oak panelling and a central fireplace and offers more than 50 malt whiskies. Those with business needs will benefit from meeting rooms, audio visual equipment and secretarial services and the hotel houses an onsite newsagent, clothing store and foreign currency exchange. Motorists will find complimentary parking facilities on site.

Directions
Birnham Oak, made famous in Shakespeare's Macbeth, is three kilometres away and Edradour Distillery, the last original farm distillery in Perthshire, is 21 kilometres from the hotel. Edinburgh Airport is 104 kilometres away, with an approximate driving time of 60 minutes. Taxis and hire cars are available from the airport. Buses run from the airport to Edinburgh's main train station, from here, trains run to Dunkeld Station. The hotel runs a complimentary shuttle bus from Dunkeld bus and train station.
Driving directions: From the airport, follow signs for the M9 for Stirling. Take the A8000 towards Forth Road Bridge. Keep on the M90 to Perth, then take the A9, following signs for Inverness. 12 miles north of Perth, take the turn on the right for Dunkeld. At the end of the village, turn left into Dunkeld House.
