A former late 19th century department store, the Hilton Antwerp is a landmark hotel with a listed Baroque facade, situated on the Groenplaats in the historical centre of Antwerp, opposite the "Cathedral of our Lady". This traditional property features 211 air conditioned guestrooms decorated in light, neutral tones with pale carpets, brown or blue fabrics and dark wood furnishings. All are equipped with satellite TV with pay movies, high speed wireless Internet connections, safes, minibars and telephones. Bathrooms include separate tubs and showers, hair dryers and complimentary toiletries.
A buffet breakfast is served every morning in the light and airy conservatory, and a late brunch is served on Sundays those who want a lie in. The cafe extends to an outdoor terrace and offers views of the Cathedral and bustling Groenplaats. In the evening, guests can try one of the many Belgian beers on offer in the hotel bar before heading off for dinner in the intimate fine dining restaurant. The Fit Inn, the hotel's health club and fitness centre, offers a cardio vascular equipment, Power Plates and group training sessions (surcharge for club entry). After a workout, guests can unwind in the sauna or enjoy a pampering massage. The hotel houses 2,600 square metres of event space, including a ballroom with a restored domed ceiling, and 13 meeting rooms equipped with modern audio visual equipment and wireless Internet access. The business centre provides secretarial and typing services, conference kits and fax and copying services. Guests can enjoy the convenience of a 24 hour front desk, room service around the clock, and an onsite gift shop, florist and tour desk. Secure covered parking is available for 500 cars (surcharge). The hotel is on the doorstep of the Grand Bazaar shopping centre and many of the city's top attractions are within one kilometre of the hotel, including the Rubens Museum, the Museum of Fashion, the harbour and the National Maritime Museum.

Directions
Bus number 16 runs every 20 minutes from the airport to the city centre. A taxi should cost approximately 10 EUR. Antwerp can be explored on foot or by bus, tram or bicycle.
Driving directions: From the airport, follow the exit signs and head in the direction of Antwerp. On the Ring Road, head towards Gent and take exit 5 for Antwerp Centrum. Cross the crossing. At the traffic lights, turn left and take the second street on the right. Go straight on until Groenplaats.
