The hotel is perfectly situated, being a short distance from Warwick town with its medieval castle, historic Kenilworth, the spa town of Leamington and the beautiful areas of the Cotswolds. It was built in the 1820s as a rectory to the Church of St. Peter, which stands adjacent to the hotels grounds. The house remained private until 1948, when it was turned into a small country house hotel. All thirty-nine bedrooms are decorated with individual character, style and design. Featuring either, coronet style bed, a tented ceiling or a four-poster style.
