Two years ago the Hotel Elizabeth Rockingham benefited from a GBP 1.5 refurbishment of public areas, including the main bar area and the restaurant. At the start of September 2008, a further GBP 1m refurbishment was invested to begin refurbishment on the bedrooms and remaining public areas. This will see the hotel equipped with 46 new executive rooms and 22 new standard rooms, to be completed in mid December. The hotel is the ideal setting for a wedding, party or private dinner party for up to 400 delegates. The large private car park can hold up to 200 cars.
