Location. Eastwood Hall is located in Eastwood, England, within one mile of the town centre and the DH Lawrence Birthplace Museum. The motorway is eight miles from the hotel, and the nearest train station is 12 miles away, in the city centre of Nottingham.
Hotel Features. Set in 26 acres of landscaped grounds, Eastwood Hall is in the Nottinghamshire countryside. It offers a 24 hour front desk, The Orangery Lounge Bar offering snacks and a wide range of wines, beers and spirits, and there complimentary onsite parking.

Eastwood Hall features the Orangery Restaurant, a spacious contemporary eatery with external patio and barbeque area. It is open at lunchtime and in the evening, and a complimentary breakfast is available in the mornings.

Eastwood Hall's conference centre offers 36 meeting rooms, accommodating up to 320 delegates.

Eastwood Hall has extensive leisure facilities, including a heated indoor swimming pool and a spa pool, a sauna and a gymnasium. There is also an all weather tennis court, and the Games Bar has two snooker tables and satellite television with sports channels. Clay pigeon and laser shooting, and archery can be arranged on site.

Guestrooms. The 150 guestrooms are contemporary in design and have views of the grounds or the surrounding area. Beds have thick soft mattress toppers and luxurious pillows. The bathrooms are equipped with shower/tub combinations, and all guestrooms feature televisions, direct dial telephones, and clock radios. Wireless Internet access is provided at a surcharge, and further amenities include coffee makers, trouser presses, and safes. Newspapers can be ordered and will be delivered to the rooms each morning.

Expert Tip. DH Lawrence's birthplace, a small terraced house in Eastwood, is now a museum. It has been converted back to how it would have looked when Lawrence was a child.

Directions


Distance to Eastwood Hall is 23 miles, approximately 30 minutes' drive.

Getting there. There is a taxi desk across from the information desk inside the terminal building. A fare to the hotel is typically 25 GBP. The Skylink bus runs from the airport to Nottingham city centre and train station. Buses leave every 30 minutes and cost 5 GBP for a single ticket. The hotel can arrange airport transport at a surcharge. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. Eastwood is a small market town and can be explored by food or public transport. Nottingham can be reached by train or bus. For trips into the Nottinghamshire countryside, a car is the best option.

Driving directions. Leave the M1 at Junction 26.
Take the first exit, signed A610 Ripley.
Follow this road, leaving it at the next junction signed Eastwood and DH Law rence's Birthplace.
At the roundabout, take third exit signed for Eastwood.
Follow the road, staying left hand lane, bearing left at the traffic lights onto Mansfield Road.
The entrance to Eastwood Hall is on the left hand side.
