Description
This hotel is situated just off junction 28 of the m1 in the beautiful countryside of south normanton. Nearby major attractions include Chatsworth house and gardens, Alton towers and Matlock.
All 161 rooms have private Bathroom/shower, satellite tv, direct dial telephone, comfortable seating and a writing desk. The rooms are medium in size and very bright with light flowery fabrics and wallpaper and large windows and drapes. The bedrooms are in good condition and the Bathrooms are in particularly good condition.
The heptagonal 'pavillion' restaurant provides an elegant setting for lunch and dinner and offers a la carte and table d'hote menus which include vegetarian options. For more informal dining, the 'lacemaker' restaurant is open all day for grills, light meals and afternoon tea.
The lobby is large and has a tiled floor and brick reception desk. There are a few sofas and armchairs situated on a large persian rug and plenty of Space for groups and their luggage.
This is a modern, lowrise building with a driveway circling a round garden at the front.
