This hotel is set in a rural area, just outside the village of Hexham in Northumberland. In a good location for visiting both Newcastle and Durham.
The bedrooms are all identical and are large in size. They offer views over the golf course or the old courtyard area. All of the bedrooms have been decorated to a very good, modern, five star standard. The Bathrooms are also very luxurious.
There are two restaurants, one is traditional, whilst the other is a more modern golf club type restaurant with a conservatory aspect over the grounds.
The lobby is large and is very Grand with opulent fabrics and furnishings.
It is a new building which was built around a small manor house. The bricks are the same colour as the original building, but it still looks like a newer, modern wing.
The hotel has exceptional leisure facilities, with a huge swimming pool, gym, sauna, jacuzzi and health treatment rooms. A great base for visiting both the beautiful Yorkshire/ Co. Durham country side.
