Location. The Cromlix House Hotel is located outside the village of Kinbuck, Scotland, three miles from Dunblane Train Station and ten miles from Stirling Castle.
Hotel Features. Situated on a 2,000 acre country estate, the Cromlix House Hotel is a Victorian property that retains many original features, including wood panelled ceilings, ancestral portraits and antique furnishings. Walking paths thread through the hotel grounds and the well tended gardens. The library lounge offers complimentary newspapers and is furnished with leather sofas. Weddings and christenings can be held in the hotel's private stone walled chapel. Motorists will find complimentary parking on site.
A full Scottish breakfast is served each morning (surcharge). Lunch, dinner and afternoon tea are offered at the Cromlix House Restaurant, which offers fresh local produce, including wild Scottish salmon and Aberdeen Angus, accompanied by fine wines and a selection of whiskies. Drinks are served in the wood panelled lounge bar. Private dining can be arranged in a number of quiet locations around the property.
Business amenities include conference and meeting rooms with a maximum capacity of 42.
With 24 hours' notice, staff can organise a range of country pursuits on the estate, including falconry, clay pigeon shooting and fly fishing tuition. The nearest golf course is five miles away. The local area offers hiking and biking trails, and opportunities for horse riding.
Guestrooms. The 14 individually decorated suites and guestrooms feature soft colour schemes, rich fabrics, period features and antique Victorian furniture. All offer satellite television, direct dial telephones, dial up Internet ports and coffee and tea making facilities. Bathrooms feature robes, hair dryers and complimentary toiletries.
Expert Tip. Connoisseurs of single malt whisky won't want to miss out on the tours (and tastings) offered at the Tullibardine Distillery.

From Edinburgh Airport (EDI):
Distance to Cromlix House Hotel is 40 miles, approximately 50 minutes' drive.
Getting there. Airlink 100 operates express bus services to the city centre. Buses run every 10 minutes and depart from the bus station next to the terminal. An open return pass costs 5 GBP. Taxis wait at a rank next to the terminal, and cost approximately 10 20 GBP to the city centre, or 60 GBP round trip to the hotel, depending on traffic and time of day. Waverley, Edinburgh's main railway station, can be reached by bus or taxi and trains run regularly to Dunblane. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. A car is recommended for exploring the area.
Driving directions. From the airport, travel north east towards Jubilee Road.
Turn right onto Jubilee Road.
Turn left at the next roundabout and continue on Eastfield Road.
Go through the next roundabout and take the slip road on the left, merging onto the Glasgow Road/A8.
Take the fourth exit at the next roundabout.
Continue to the M9.
Take the second exit at the next roundabout onto the A9.
Take the second slip road, following signs for Dunblane and Kinbuck.
Turn right onto the B8033 and continue to Kinbuck.
Follow the signs for Cromlix House Hotel.
